- A Valid Email ID and Mobile Number
This is the first thing that you will need in order to login and create your profile on the website. Ensure that you have your own email id, which you intend to use for sometime. Also, having your own mobile number helps but in case that is not possible, use the number of a trusted family member as regular updates are provided via SMS.
2. Soft copies of your passport size photo
Keep ready a soft copy of your coloured photo in the size .4.5 cm by 3.5 cm and a file size between 10 KB to 100 KB
3. Soft copy of your Signature
Similarly, keep ready a scanned copy of your signature in the size 1.5 cm by 3.5 cm and file size between 3 KB to 30 KB
4. Class 10 and Class 12 Mark sheets and Passing Certificate
Make PDF files of your Class 10 as well as Class 12 Mark sheets and Passing Certificate. For the sake of ease, have them as separate files (1 file for Sem I mark sheet, one for Sem II mark sheet etc.) but also make a consolidated file. One is never sure in which form it may be asked.
5. Graduation Mark sheets and Passing Certificate (if applicable)
For candidates applying for Paper 2, this will be an added requirement. However, in case you are appearing only for Paper 1 and you are a graduate, please do upload the same. One should upload all exams cleared. This will help later in the verification process.
6. Any other degree - Mark sheet and Passing Certificate
Similarly, for candidates applying for Paper 2, do upload Post Graduation degree Mark sheets and Passing Certification, if any.
7. Teacher Qualification
Since the CTET is a teacher eligibility test, your teacher qualifications such as D. Ed., D. El. Ed., B. Ed., B.A.B.Ed. etc will also be needed.
Note that those of you who are in the final year of the eligible course, need to have their previous years’ (semesters’) mark sheet ready.8. Aadhaar Card
Your Aadhaar Card Number as well as a soft copy of the same would be required for uploading. In case your Aadhaar is verified with your mobile number, use the 1 page e-Aadhaar for this purpose. In case, your Aadhaar is not e-verified or in case you are using someone else’s mobile ID for the CTET exam purpose, scan your Aadhaar card and keep it ready9. Bank Details
The CTET fees have to be paid online using either your Debit or Credit Card or via Netbanking. Keep all the details ready for the same.
The fees can also be paid offline using challans at Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
